Woodland Friends Bookmarks for Summer Reading
Did your kids come home with a summer reading list? Do you have a stack of books you would like to enjoy on the warm summer evenings?
Then this is the printable for you! My little woodland friends love books, and they can be printed as personalized bookmarks. You may remember these little cuties from the Easter egg holders and the felt puppets.
Just download using the button below and open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat. You can select the name on each bookmark and type in your own. Print these onto a heavy card stock and trim for the perfect summer reading buddy. Enjoy! ~ Lia

How can I change the names on the bookmarks?
The instructions are in the post. 🙂
I can’t wait to craft!!!
Lia Thank you so much these are adorable! my little grandaughter loves bookmarks made by “grandma” I am sure she will love these.
I am sure she will! 🙂
hi Lia, I am from Bangladesh. You are so welcome for this bookmark. Thank you!
Thank you!!
How can I change the name’s font???
Hi, there is no option to change the font on this one, sorry!
So cute! Thank you much 🙂
You’re so welcome!
Merci beaucoup !! joli graphisme, couleurs simplicité, et prénom pour personnaliser 😉
I increased size to 150% and printed in landscape to make them larger.
I wanted to use for a scrapbook layout.
Adorable!! Share photos of the finished project.
Thanks they are so cute!
IDK how to eliminate and/or change the names which are already on them.
When I downloaded/printed, the other names printed also.
Please tell me how to change.
Also, Is there anyway to make them larger?
I actually want to use them on a scrapbook page.
Hi Sue, you need to download the PDF to your desktop, then open in Adobe Reader. You’ll be able to edit the names there (and delete the example names if you don’t want them on there). The only way to make them larger is to choose to enlarge when you’re printing.
Please can you post these bookmarks with no name on them as I am not computer savvy and don”t know how to print like you are saying. They are so cute and I give bookmarks to kids whenever.
Thanks Linda! I can’t alter the file but the editable PDF is easy to use– you just need to download the PDF, then open the file and delete the names where you see them.
This was easy to use and turned out adorably. Thank you!
You’re so welcome! 🙂

I’ve been surfing on-line more than 3 hours nowadays, yet I never
found any fascinating article like yours. It is lovely price enough for me.
In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did,
the web shall be much more helpful than ever before.
Thank you!!

Hi Lia!
I love this bookmarks. I tried to change the names but when I do it it makes it smaller and not centered. Could you help me?
Also I’m doing your bird as favor for my niece’s baby shower 🙂
Thanks!!!
Florencia from Argentina
I think you haven’t uploaded the font that I used.

Say hi to them for me:)
ADORABLE!! Thank you for allowing your bookmarks to be free! My child will share this with her class! I am head over heels for these sweet little woodland creatures. And how wonderful you can customize the names.
You are welcome! Happy to hear that you are sharing the woodland creatures with your daughters class.
I’m opening my Little Free Library on July 15, 2014 and plan on using your bookmarks as a giveaway! Thank you for providing such adorable pictures to go with my “Little Free Library” logo I printed on each one. I’m sure your bookmarks will be a welcome addition to the books in my library. Thank you.
How sweet!
The names are on the sticks when you print them
You can edit the names when you open the PDF in Acrobat. Then they will print on the wood section of the bookmark.
Our Little Free Library is opening tomorrow.
Thanks to your talent and generosity, we have
darling party favors to share with our friends and guests!

They are still my favorites. 🙂
Thanks so much for these! I’m going to be hosting a Christmas tea table at my church for moms and daughters and wanted to do a woodland animal theme. Found these on pinterest and am so excited to make them for the little girls!
Wonderful! They will be so happy to be there. 😉
I love these! Too cute! My grand-nephew just turned a year old. I wish I had seen this before his party. I am not a quilter (yet), but, these would be cute characters to sew onto blankets, too!
Good thing he will have a birthday every year. 😉 Love the quilt idea! I also made some felt puppets from three of these characters. If you have not seen it here is the link. https://liagriffith.com/woodland-friends-diy-felt-puppets/
thanks so much! I may print these out as party favor’s for my dd’s birthday. They are SO cute! 🙂
Great idea! Personalized with their names too. 🙂
Hi! These are too cute to be true! I’m starting out a website called The Crafters Helper (thecraftershelper.wordpress.com) and it doesn’t have anything on it, but it’s going to be dedicated to crafts and craft tutorials. Is it OK if I out a link to these on it? Thanks! -Clara
Hi Clara! Sure, you can use these on your site. I have a terms of use page and it gives an outline. Congrats on your new adventure!
Thanks!
Sure thing!
Hello,- I love these bookmarks and want to use them for my daughters birthday. I really would like to personalize them but when I download the file the names are not printed for me to select and insert the new name. Do you have any suggestions?
Hi Charlene, I think I know what the problem is. Most browsers now open the file in your browser window. This is not fully downloaded but just open to view. There should be a button to save it to your desktop. Once you do that, double click the file and it will open in Acrobat. This is the program that allows you to see the names and edit the text. Let me know if that does not work.
You saved me! At the last minute I’m doing a loosely woodland animal themed party for my daughter and was looking for personalised bookmarks and yours are just perfection! Thank you SO much 🙂
That is fantastic! I am thinking of putting together a woodland themed birthday party soon.
Oh my stars, these are too cute! Thank you!
Thanks Kellie!
aaaaw these are soooo cute and adorable, smart idea to make these, i have lost a lot of books by sharing them.
But they never came back to me.
so perhaps this is a smart idea, and stamping your name in them as well.
Because i think they are so cute that people will use them in other books as well.LOL
Thank you for the sharing and free printables;-D
i love your blog and beautiful paper art work.
You’re brilliant and very talented;-D
Thanks Jet! Enjoy. It sounds like I need to create some book plates too. For those who lend out their books. 🙂

Thanks Lisa!
Wow, thanks Lia! Love how we can have our names printed on them! Hard choice, I love them all. I think I’ll need to read 6 books at the same time so I can use them all at once 😉 Thank you so much for sharing the printables!
That made me smile. Yes! All 6 of them need your name on them. 🙂
